
We needed to elevate Wilson’s presence in the performance soccer category by creating a premium match ball for the NCAA Men’s and Women’s College Cup. The project needed to deliver a highly visible, broadcast-ready design that improved spin recognition, enhanced game readability, and strengthened Wilson’s credibility with collegiate programs and competitive athletes.
I directed and designed the creative and visual design of the VIVIDO, developing a bold color and graphic system that maximized visibility during fast play and televised matches. Partnering with product and R&D teams, I ensured the ball’s fused 20-panel construction, micro-textured casing, and moisture-control technologies were expressed through a distinctive visual identity. The design system was expanded across packaging, retail, and digital environments to reinforce VIVIDO as Wilson’s flagship performance ball.
VIVIDO launched as the official match ball of the NCAA College Cup Championships, providing Wilson with unmatched visibility in elite collegiate play. It quickly became one of the top-selling premium performance soccer balls at retail and gained strong adoption among clubs and college programs nationwide. The ball’s success solidified Wilson’s position in the high-performance segment and contributed to measurable growth in soccer market share in both the U.S. and Mexico.
